hello friends n all. i thought i wouldn’t need to ebeg again; this is probably the most personal thing i’m sharing and i really didn’t want to but the urgency of the sich doesn’t leave me much of a choice lol
that’s my car on the left and a conversation with my pharmacy on the right. my name is zoë and i’m hiv positive. my car was broken into last night and while most of the stuff they stole was inconsequential the bagthey took also had my brand-new, unopened bottle of the medication i very literally need (along with two of my psych meds, but i’m prioritizing the hiv meds). my insurance will not cover lost/stolen meds, and after i hounded them the most they said they could do is put in an appeal. i’m exploring other options (calling lgbtq+ health centers, seeing if auto/home insurance can help, etc) but i have 10 days of medication left and i’m very seriously doubting i’ll be able to find a resolution in time.
the cheapest i could find the meds is $3700.
