I think its really fucked up how something can be permanently erased from the internet without a trace. And I feel like society doesn’t value websites and internet media much if at all. They definitely don’t treat it with the same respect or importance as a book or film or piece of art. Web counter culture is fucked and will probably disappear as quickly as its created. The ten years from 2009 – 2019 I feel like we lost a lot. I do wonder what the future holds, I really think we’re entering a kind of dark age where important art and culture will be partially lost or degraded because of negligence or some freak incident. It really makes me want to just save everything I’ve ever clicked on to a hard drive.
