It’s strange to be reminded again and again that tumblr will be gone someday soon. My personal taste, my relationships, diary entries, have been recorded here in one way or another for almost half of my life.

The way I’ve interacted with the internet and people online has largely been influenced by my usage of tumblr as a kind of home page.

Personally, this was my first social media account that I created and have maintained since 2013, with my first account being created in 2011.

I think I’ll be spending the next few days focusing on backing up anything I’d like to keep from this place. If you like your blog, take the time to request a backup from tumblr. It seems stupid, but it isn’t. If your data isn’t backed up, it doesn’t exist!
